As a full time Electrical Fitter Trains you will work both independently and as a team member. Your work will be mainly in the locomotive of the train. The job is carried out on a variety of installations. This role requires a willingness to learn and grow.

These will be your responsibilities as an Electrical Fitter Trains:

• Repairs and Upgrades: Replacing old infrastructure and electrical components and carry out the repair of faulty electrical components.
• System Installation: Setting up electrical systems and components on trains, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.
• Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting tests on installed systems to verify functionality and safety, ensuring that all work meets regulatory and company standards.

Over de werkgever

This company’s mission is to carry out maintenance repair of rail vehicles including all subsystems, to ensure a maximum lifecycle with minimal cost investment. The company is on standby 24/7 (not on this location) to perform the job either on location or in their own workplace. 

Ervaring

When you start working as a full time Electrical Fitter Trains, we expect the following from you:

• Very good English communication skills
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical fitting and repair
• Able to work independently
• Willingness to learn Dutch and stay in the Netherlands for the future
• Driving license B

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Hard work and talent should be rewarded. As a full time Electrical Fitter Trains, you will receive the following:

• Salary between € 2.600 and € 3.200 gross a month.
• That is a salary between €390,- and €560,- net a week
• Savings for vacation days.
• 8,33% holiday allowance on top of your salary.
• 25 vacation days a year and 13 extra vacation days (ADV).
• Housing and health insurance are included in the net salary offer.
• Single room accommodation
• Payment for planetickets to your home country up to € 200,- every 13 weeks after 13 weeks of work.
